Founded in 1976, James R. Reed and Associates initially responded to the need for environmental consulting services by industries desiring to monitor their impact on water quality and aquatic life. Original emphasis was on biological indicators of environmental impact. However, as regulations began to require a continually expanding list of chemical and biological monitoring, sophisticated chemical analytical instrumentation and toxics monitoring were gradually added to the firm’s capabilities.
Located immediately off Interstate 64 in the scenic Oyster Point Industrial Park in Newport News, Virginia, James R. Reed and Associates serves the Mid-Atlantic region and particularly Virginia and North Carolina. Quality overnight courier services have allowed us to successfully complete projects for clients throughout the U. S. and Puerto Rico. We also offer field sampling or pick up services over a broad area and can respond quickly to our clients’ special needs.
